    Novkov’s short essay is a great resource for students who haven’t read a court case before.

  • How to Write a Brief

    WestLaw is a great resource in general, but this one is especially useful whether students are using the IRAC method or another method to brief cases.

  • Purdue OWL

    A classic resource for any course, Purdue’s OWL is great for writing, citations, and resumes.

    Helping students understand data is a big part of the job. ANES is a great resource.

Resources I’m currently using

This is the primary text for my Politics of Childbirth class. Rooting her work in Reproductive Justice, Sabia Wade offers an intersectional look at maternal mortality, systemic issues in health care, and the continuing crisis of racism in medicine (and beyond).

Birth Place Lab

In the Division of Midwifery at the University of British Columbia, The Birth Place lab offers research and insights into improving childbirth and health outcomes.
